What's new at Allons: six months of reinventing carpooling
From the mobile app to tools for organizers, here's everything we've launched since May.

Since the beginning of May, we’ve been working quite hard! When you’re working that intensely, there’s no time to take a step back and pat yourselves on the back. Well, the time has come!
The goal is the same: to make carpooling a real option for people who want to travel in Quebec. Here's a small(big) list of what we've done:
iOS and Android
The Allons mobile app
This is where everything happens for drivers and passengers, and it's where we worked the hardest.
A brand-new first impression
Home screen, sign-up and tutorial completely redesigned, with new colours and a map as soon as you open the app.
Discover where to go
A map of destinations and events, suggestions tailored to your region and up to three destinations in a single request.
Carpool requests that fit your plans
Preset schedules, round trips, number of seats, passengers' specific needs and shared parking costs: set it all up in a few taps.
Matches that are easier to turn into rides
Suggested meeting points, clearer status for every request and direct matching when the trip allows it.
Chat before you go
Offer a ride right from the chat and check the other person's profile and ratings.
Ride with confidence
Code of conduct, friendly ride agreement, two-factor authentication, email and phone verification, trip ratings and one-tap reporting.
Local guides
Locals share their favourite spots and answer your questions by chat.
A community space
Friends, an activity feed, shared trips and a thank-you wall to celebrate good moves.
A redesigned rewards shop
Featured products, partner merchants and rewards delivered by QR code or as a PDF.
Referrals
Invite friends and family with your referral code or a community code, and earn points along the way.
Clear accounts between carpoolers
A monthly summary of contributions so everyone knows who owes what, no awkwardness.

Allons on the web, for participants
Don't want to install the app for a single event? The web version of Allons has grown a lot.
The "Carpool here" button
Right on a venue or event page, with the option to carpool to other events at the same location.
Your request, one click away
The confirmation email now includes a link to view or cancel your request at any time.
The shop on the web
Rewards are now available right from your browser.
Better contact and chat
A refreshed interface to reach other carpoolers more easily.

The organizer platform
Festivals, ski resorts, conferences, attractions: organizers now have more control over their visitors' carpooling.
A new home
The allons.social website and the app.allons.social platform, with rewritten destination pages to help you plan your outings.
Creating events made simpler
Advanced settings, an interactive map, round trips and cancellation in a few clicks.
Pay as you go
No more plans: you buy credits to publish your events and venues, with online payment, invoices and easy renewal.
Connected to your tools
Webhooks send carpool requests to your registration or ticketing platforms, such as Yapla.
Your metrics at a glance
A dashboard to track carpool requests and participation.
Local guides to welcome visitors
Organizations can create a local guide profile and answer visitors directly.

The admin portal
For employers, cities and mobility program coordinators, the Greenplay admin portal took a big leap forward.

A recommendation engine suggests challenges based on each person's habits, with rewards, badges and bilingual notifications, all configurable by administrators.
