Getting to Mont-Sainte-Anne by carpool

How to reach Mont-Sainte-Anne (Beaupré) by carpool: typical trips, meetup points, parking, transit, and Allons rewards.

Mont-Sainte-Anne is Quebec City’s mountain: about forty minutes from town on the Côte-de-Beaupré, with a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River and Île d’Orléans. Alpine skiing in winter, mountain biking in summer: this mountain never really takes a vacation.

It’s also getting ready to host the alpine skiing and snowboard events of the 2027 Canada Games. Whether you leave from Sainte-Foy, Limoilou or Lévis, sharing the ride to the base is the simplest way to make the most of your day.

Typical trips

Usual driving distances and times, not an Allons trip count. Savings assume 3 people in the car; avoided CO₂e uses 0.21 kg/km, the same factor as the Allons dashboard.

Suggested meetup points

The Allons covoiturage app finds a meetup point for you automatically — and here are a few suggestions if you want them.

  • D’Estimauville / Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré (Route 138)

The natural corridor from Quebec City. Meet before Route 138 starts rolling out its many exits, and head up together.

  • Sainte-Foy park-and-rides

For western Quebec City and Lévis, via the bridges. Consolidate cars before setting course for Beaupré.

  • Resort base (Beau-Pré)

If the whole crew is already coming from the Côte-de-Beaupré, just meet right at the base.

Access

Highway 40 and Route 138 east toward Beaupré, then boulevard du Beau-Pré. 35 minutes from Quebec City, with the river on one side and the mountain on the other. From Lévis, the bridge then the Côte-de-Beaupré: a scenic mini road trip before your first run.

Parking

Three faces, three moods: pick yours with your crew before you leave. One car, one lot, and everyone skis the same side. In peak season some lots may be paid — one more reason to split the bill.

Public transit

Public transit gets you close to the Côte-de-Beaupré; Allons covers the rest of the way to the lifts. From Sainte-Foy, Limoilou or Lévis, it’s the most pleasant Saturday-morning habit there is.

Local FAQ

Not at all! It’s long enough for solo costs to add up (fuel, parking, wear) and short enough to find matches every Saturday from Sainte-Foy, Limoilou or Lévis.
