Getting to Saint-Bruno by carpool

How to reach Ski Saint-Bruno (Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville) by carpool: typical trips, meetup points, parking, transit, and Allons rewards.

Ski Saint-Bruno is the South Shore’s neighbourhood mountain: about thirty minutes from downtown Montreal, with its ski school, night skiing and family atmosphere. It’s often where people put on their first ski boots… and come back years later with their own kids.

The drive is short, but when hundreds of families take the same road on Saturday morning, sharing a car makes a real difference: less traffic on the rang, more room in the lot, and kids who arrive already in vacation mode.

Typical trips

Usual driving distances and times, not an Allons trip count. Savings assume 3 people in the car; avoided CO₂e uses 0.21 kg/km, the same factor as the Allons dashboard.

Suggested meetup points

The Allons covoiturage app finds a meetup point for you automatically — and here are a few suggestions if you want them.

  • Panama or Du Quartier REM station

About fifteen minutes’ drive to the chalet. For many South Shore folks, that’s the whole trip!

  • Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville exo station

Even closer than the REM. Ideal for after-4-p.m. departures for night skiing.

  • Promenades Saint-Bruno

A landmark everyone knows, a big parking lot, and 10 minutes to the mountain.

Access

On the South Shore, rang des Vingt-Cinq, right next to Mont-Saint-Bruno National Park (separate entrance, promise). From Montreal: a bridge, Route 116 or Highway 30, and you’re already in ski-lesson mode. Thursday at 5 p.m., those 25 km are much nicer in good company.

Parking

The resort lot is family headquarters: Saturday lessons, night skiing, ski bags and hot chocolates. One car for the group, and everyone hops out in the same spot — a real bonus with kids.

Public transit

The REM and the exo train get you close to the mountain; Allons takes care of the last 15 minutes to the chalet. The most everyday carpool there is — and the handiest after school.

Local FAQ

On the contrary, it’s the most predictable time of the week! Post your trip by Wednesday: plenty of parents from Longueuil and Brossard make the exact same trip every Saturday.
