Getting to Saint-Sauveur by carpool

How to reach Sommet Saint-Sauveur (Saint-Sauveur) by carpool: typical trips, meetup points, parking, transit, and Allons rewards.

Saint-Sauveur is Greater Montreal’s after-work mountain: less than an hour away, with night skiing under the lights and a lively village of patios, shops and twinkling lights. You come up for a few runs… and stay for the poutine.

In summer, the water park takes over at the foot of the slopes. Whatever the season, one car for the whole crew makes parking easier, and après-ski starts the moment you leave.

Typical trips

Usual driving distances and times, not an Allons trip count. Savings assume 3 people in the car; avoided CO₂e uses 0.21 kg/km, the same factor as the Allons dashboard.

Suggested meetup points

The Allons covoiturage app finds a meetup point for you automatically — and here are a few suggestions if you want them.

  • Montmorency park-and-ride

At the end of the orange line. The perfect starting point for an after-work night-skiing outing.

  • Highway 15 exit 57 (Saint-Sauveur)

Meet just before the climb, leave a few cars behind and roll into the village in a single vehicle.

  • Saint-Jérôme or Blainville station

For anyone taking the exo train and looking for a ride for the last 20 to 30 minutes to the base.

Access

Highway 15 north, exit 57, then the short climb to avenue Saint-Denis. Between 50 and 70 km from Laval or Montreal: short enough for a Tuesday-night outing, long enough to put the world to rights in the car.

Parking

Sommet’s lots sit right at the base. Weeknights and Saturday mornings are busy: arriving several to a car saves you from circling rue Principale. Park, boot up, ride up.

Public transit

The exo train takes you to Blainville or Saint-Jérôme; Allons finds you a driver for the remaining 20 to 30 minutes. The ideal night-skiing combo: leave work, meet your crew at the station, and be on the snow before dinner.

It’s actually the most natural use: lots of people leave Laval and Montreal for the same mountain between 4 and 6 p.m. Set your evening time range in Allons and matching does the rest.
